DFW Communities

The Greater DFW Metroplex is made up of more than 100 cities and towns, depending on how you define it.  For at least a decade the DFW Metroplex has been one of the fastest growing areas in the country, and it’s a lot of area to cover! Currently, Dallas ranks as the 4th largest metropolitan area in the United States.

The DFW Metroplex is anchored by DFW International Airport, one of the largest in the and busiest in the world. This helps to rank DFW as the 4th largest metropolitan area in the United States.

Some of the cities throughout the Metroplex are well-known to those outside of area: Arlington, is the new home to the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers and of course the entertainment hotspot for families, Six Flags; Denton is the home of The University of North Texas and Texas Women’s University; Plano as the headquarters to several Fortune 500 companies including JC Penney and Dr. Pepper, and Southfork Ranch. Other notable landmarks located within the Metroplex are Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, The Cotton Bowl, and The John F. Kennedy Memorial.

The primary reasons people relocate to the DFW Metroplex is the affordable living. It is a great place to raise a family with Exemplary Schools, a Sports Team for everyone, and DFW Airport which makes travel so easy and of course the mild weather. Ok, maybe the summers aren’t mild but the sun does shine more than 300 days each year!  Not to mention it attracts those that are seeking to settle in a community that is socially, economically and culturally hospitable.
